Reflecting the Divine Beauty

We look upon the glory of the Lord, and as we gaze the glory streams upon us, and there is an image of Christ mirrored or reflected in us. Then others, looking upon us, see the image of Christ in our lives. You look into a little pool of still water at night, and see the stars in it, or by day, and see the blue sky and the heavens. So you look upon Christ in loving faith and adoration, and his glory shines down into your soul. Then your neighbors or your friends about you, look at you, see your character, watch your conduct, observe your disposition and temper, and all the play of your life; and, as they behold you, they perceive the image of Christ in you. You are the mirror, and in you men see the beauty and the glory of the Lord.
